Júlia Lema Barros, 1997, is a New
Media artist, focusing on sound, video, and mapping. Her recent accomplishments
include exhibitions at the Biennale d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence 2024 and the
CHRONIQUES CREATIONS Biennial. Recognized as a Top Emerging Artist, she has
showcased her work across Europe in solo and group exhibitions in places such
as Chateau La Coste and MNAC Lisbon. Julia's art delves into spatial memories
and envisions future sonic landscapes, exploring the intricate relationship
between cities, nature, and technology. Passionate about creating immersive
experiences that blur the lines between fiction and reality, she invites
viewers to engage with her evolving narratives.
