Video Mapping Monumental, Aix-en-Provence, France

For the European Night of Museums, the Aix-en-Provence School of Art offered a projection Mapping, performed by students in the 3D workshop of the ESAAix. Framed by artist Ricardo Garcia and artist Barthélémy Antoine-Loeff, this project illuminated, revealed and transformed the facade of the Vendôme Pavilion after dark. Between sessions, the public was invited to experiment a video game at the scale of the monument.
For this occasion, I proposed the Mapping Pendant la Nuit particularly for the Night of Museums, waking up the statues and symbols of Aix-en-Provence for a night, as if it would be the only nigh of the year that they could be awake...
