produced during residency at Sound Art Lab Denmark
With the support of European Union and Goethe Institute
Copenhagen, Denmark
2025
Mons Tro (or nøkke), a hybrid, multimedia installation, bridges the immaterial and the organic, evoking a sense of wonder and
strangeness.
Drawing inspiration from Danish folklore, the work evokes legends of magical beings who enchant and lure with their sounds, blending organic soundscapes and mythical narratives, it transforms the exhibition space into a phantasmagoric realm where echoes of nature and myth converge.
Through a collaborative exchange with Platform BUNKER and Sound Art Lab,
Mons Tro immerses visitors in a fluid interplay between the physical and the
intangible, captivating imagination and perception.
By creating a fluid interplay between myth and environment, the installation transforms the exhibition space into an intangible, dreamlike realm where visitors are immersed in reflections, echoes, and an alluring interplay of sound and light.
Mons Tro invites audiences to engage with the magical and the immaterial through sensible and strange narratives.
This project was produced with the financial support of the European Union and Goethe Institute, with the kind support of Sound Art Lab Denmark and in collaboration with Platform Bunker.
